YOUTH
PARTICIPATION
Young People are at the heart of our Charity and shape the support we provide and by listening to their experiences we can all help challenge societal barriers.
We have a number of ways we work with young people, ensuring that our services are co-designed by young people who have lived experience.
We have a Youth Trustee who is a key member of our Board of Trustees.
Our Every Chance Board (ECB) of Youth Advisors guide our Board of Trustees and Head of Trust on a wide range of charity related matters
We collaborate with a number of other youth councils both in person as well as through surveys (Newton Abbot Youth Council, Teign School Youth Council, Teignmouth Community College Youth Council) on a weekly basis who provide regular insight, challenge and support as well as getting involved in peer support and activities.
Please get in touch if you are between 16-25 and want to get involved and shape our charity, be part of our activities programme and just reach out to find out more.
“I want to encourage individuals in the same position that I was in to keep fighting and to never give up. I want to help people to love themselves and believe in themselves and know that nothing is impossible.”
