HISTORY
In 1998, the original ACEs study was published, leading to the realisation that childhood trauma is a root cause of many entrenched social issues.
This gradually led to new ways of best supporting young people who have experienced Trauma, ensuring they feel safe and secure with trusted adults and realise with the right help and therapeutic approaches that the effects of Trauma in childhood do not have to define a happy successful and fulfilled future.
The Life Chance Trust was created in response to an identified need for post 16 support for young people who had experience trauma and was created by the founders of The Life Chance Group and School for Inspiring Talents.
